Call for aerospace art in the new building
Smead Aerospace and CU Boulder's NEST Studio for the Arts invite artists, faculty, or students to submit proposals for theÌýnew Aerospace buildingÌýon East Campus of the °µÍø½ûÇø, opening Summer 2019.
There are two locations for which artworks may be designed: the lobby’s south wall (22′ across, with little to no depth, thus lending itself to a mural) or the 3rd floor lounge (8′ across x 12′ high x 10′ deep).
A committee will review the proposals and consider the merits of how the artwork fits with the research focus areas of the Aerospace Engineering Sciences Department: Aerospace Engineering Systems; Astrodynamics & Satellite Navigation Systems; Bioastronautics; and RemoteÌýSensing, Earth and Space Sciences.
