Elections to fill open seats on the BFA Standing Committees will take place during September. BFA Secretary Adam Norris sent a communication to BFA Representatives on Monday, August 27th outlining the seats available and processes for elections. Here’s a breakdown of the election dates:

Internal elections - open only to BFA Representatives:

• 8/27 - 9/4 - nominations open

• 9/5 - 9/7 - electronic elections via Qualtrics (extended to 9/9)

External elections - open to all eligible CU Boulder faculty:

• 9/12 - 9/18 -  nominations open

• 9/19 - 9/25 - electronic elections via Qualtrics

For external elections, eligible faculty will receive an email with the above information and a list of open seats on the various BFA Committees. Faculty can be nominated by another faculty member, a BFA Rep, or by themselves. The timing for this process has changed from past years after the General Assembly approved a change to the Standing Rules in March, 2018.
