Zach Jordan has made the most of his time at CU. He went to college as a first-generation student and will now graduate with four majors across three degrees and 200 credit hours under his belt. Jordan sees operations as an avenue for constant improvement. He came to Leeds to learn the significance of data in the real world; he uses operations to question and refine the methods businesses use to lead their organization and how they can improve lives.
Jordan has dedicated himself to curiosity, motivating him to gain an in-depth understanding of business operations. After graduation, he will begin his PhD in operations management at UCLA, where he is looking forward to exploring Los Angeles and plans to research how operations management can improve social sustainability programs. He wants to discover how operations management and free market tools can impact social good.
”Operations translates values into action—I’m focused on how operational design can produce measurable social outcomes.“
