GASB 96 account codes for IT subscriptions
GASB 96 provided new accounting guidelines for subscription agreements to use a third party’s IT resource, e.g. software, platform, or server, for a defined period of time. In fiscal year 2024, the Campus Controller’s Office will monitor the general ledger for any new GASB 96 agreements.
In order to facilitate this review, please use the following accounts when purchasing IT subscriptions:
