The changes go into effect for awards beginning October 1, 2024 or later.
The large changes for equipment capitalization threshold to 10k and subawards receiving F&A on their first 50k instead of 25k cannot go into effect until CU Boulder has a new federally negotiated F&A rate.
As for policies and procedures, CU Boulder’s Research Financial Services has many of the changes in draft and review. Please reach out if there a specific topic you would like to know more about or provide input.Ìý
We will let campus know once we have finalized changes to policies and procedures, until then remember the most restrictive policy must be followed whether its Uniform Guidance, sponsor terms and conditions, the award, or CU Boulder.
