Join us for the 6th Annual Children's Book Festival:November 9, 2024, at Boulder Public Library

The CU BoulderSchool of Education and the Boulder Bookstore invite teachers, students, families, librarians, and all who enjoy children’s literature to join us for the 2024 Children's Book Festival.

Saturday, November 9: In-person event at the Boulder Public Library

|10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

  • Free in-person event open to the public with author talks, a panel for educators, book sales and signing, children’s activities and more.
  • Sessions catered to different ages with audience Q&A.
  • Authors and illustratorswill share their new books and talk about their creative process and influences.
  • Free educational resources and Continuing Education Units (CEUs)will be available for teachers and librarians.
  • Free parking will be available in the Library's parking lots (: Lots 95405 & 95406)

Friday, November 8: Authors & illustrators visit local schools

  • Authors and illustrators will visit pre-selected schools in Boulder Valley School District, St. Vrain Valley School District, and other surrounding areas.
  • Authors and illustrators will share about their books and creative processes to inspire children's reading and writing.
  • Books will be provided to children and teachers in the partner schools for reading and author signing.
