My research focuses on four core elements of image-guided therapy: 1) colloid chemistry and interface science aspects of microbubbles and nanodrops; 2) the physics of the acoustic interaction between the microbubble and the ultrasound pulse; 3) interactions between the microbubble and biomolecules, cells and tissues; and 4) novel applications of microbubbles for biomedical ultrasound imaging and therapy.
