Summit attendees—virtual and in-person—can use the summit’s official AQ Green carbon offset app. In partnership with AQ Green TeC, the app provides users with the ability to measure and offset their personal emissions generated from attending the summit, from Dec. 1 to 4.

The AQ Green carbon offset app allows you to track your actions, measure your carbon footprint, reduce your impact and offset any impact you may make duringÌýthe summit and your daily life.

How to Manage Your Climate Impact

. We’ll send you an email with information on how to download the app and a code toÌýaccess the offset program. The app can be downloaded on any smartphone.

Within the app, participants can input and measure each footprint they make—from travel to meals—and then use the measurement to pay toward carbon credits to offset their impact.Ìý

Carbon credits for the summit can go towards a combination of the following projects:

The hybrid event allows attendees to participate while reducing travel impacts. The hybrid option also encourages local engagement within communities.

The #RHRNClimate Summit will provide carbon offsets to keynote speakers and panelists to account for their air travel.

Conscious Catering

Catering for the summit keynote speakers and panelists will offer locally sourced food from CU Boulder’s greenhouses and local farmers and suppliers.

Zero Waste

The summit will offer only sustainable materials for meals and events, including biodegradable lanyards and badges made from recycled products.

Sustainable Transportation

In partnership with Via Mobility, electric buses will transport attendees to, from and across campus for events in an effort to reduce automobile travel.
