Deadline for Social Justice Scholars Program: March 15
The Social Justice Scholars Program was established by the Division of Social Sciences in 2022 to support students who have actively engaged with or demonstrated a commitment to social justice issues or have participated in related clubs, programs, and organizations.Ìý
Social Justice Scholars receive an award of $5000 and participate throughout the 2025-26 academic year in social events and seminars throughout the year designed to build connections between each other, faculty in the division, and members of the community engaged in related activity.Ìý
Applicants must have a declared major in at least one of the social science division fields: Anthropology; Economics; Ethnic Studies; International Affairs; Linguistics; Political Science; Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences; Sociology; and/or Women and Gender Studies.
