David Shneer serves as Helix Project Scholar-in-Residence, presents research for new book project
David Shneer, Ìýand Professor of History, Religious Studies and Jewish Studies,Ìýhad a busy summer of globetrotting. ÌýHe served as scholar-in-residence for the Ìýthat took students to Belarus, Lithuania, and Latvia.ÌýNext year, he plans to open a competition for a fellowship to support at least one CU student to participate in the study program, so stay tuned for more information. Following that, he gave a talk at the International Slavic Studies conference in Makuhari, Japan, about his new book project, Grief: The History of the World’s First Holocaust Liberation Photograph and the Man Who Took It, and will be presenting a paper on the subject at USC’s Casden Institute onÌýWednesday, September 9. Ìý
