Welcome to the SIP (Shared Instruments Pool) in the Department of Biochemistry at the °µÍø½ûÇø!
The research groups in the Department of Biochemistry, at the University of Colorado at Boulder, have joined forces and placed state-of-the-art instrumentation in a Shared Instruments Pool to facilitate the sharing of instruments and analytical capabilities.
The Shared Instruments Pool (SIP) gives researchers in the department access to a multitude of instruments and techniques, including EPR, CD and fluorescence spectroscopy, DLS, Sec-MALS, ITC, MST, stopped-flow spectroscopy, chemical quench-flow and more. The SIP also houses a variety of additional equipment, such as imaging systems, centrifuges, scintillation counters, sonicators and more. The first goal of the SIP is to support research in the Department of Biochemistry. We are happy to extend our help to researchersÌýfrom the broader CU community and, if time and availability allow us to, to researchers outside the university.
