- University of Colorado Law School Professor and Director of Clinical Programs Deborah Cantrell is a recipient of Boulder County Public Health’s 2020 Healthy Community Award for her work supporting mobile homeowners in Colorado.
- The Hon. Stephen F. Williams, a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit who served for nearly two decades on the University of Colorado Law School faculty, died Aug. 7 due to complications from the coronavirus. Williams was a member of the Colorado Law faculty from 1969 until 1986, when President Ronald Reagan appointed him to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
