Guest artist scheduling request (completed by faculty sponsor)

The Operations Office (S213) receives and reviews all guest artist event requests. If your event is approved and scheduled, you will receive an email confirmation from EMS.ÌýGuest artist eventsÌýare not allowed during November, December or April or May due to increased college performances, student recitals and curricular needs.

  • Check the College of Music Planning Calendar prior to requesting space.
  • Recital Times: Guest artist recitals occurÌýat standard performance times (7:30 p.m. on weekdays;Ìý2 p.m., 4:30 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. on weekends). Recital bookings include 60 minutes for load-in and 30 minutes for tear-down.
  • Collaborative Piano Requests: Contact Margaret McDonald and Alexandra Nguyen at collaborativepiano@colorado.edu beforeÌýcompleting this form.
  • Harpsichord Requests:ÌýEmail Ted Mulcahey at ted.mulcahey@colorado.edu one month before the event.Ìý
  • CU Presents Promotion: If your event is approved, submit your information for promotion, including online calendars, at Step 2 on the Event scheduling + publicity page.
