The Spring 2024 PAC Research/Outreach Grant Winner

Thank you to all who submitted applications to this year's PAC Outreach Grant! We received many competitive applications and it was difficult to choose only one awardee. Congratulations to the 2024 award winner Dr. Yao Wang!

Rules

• One award: 1st Prize - $500
• Application deadline: May 10, 2024 @ 11:59 PM MST
• Submissions will be judged blindly. 

To apply, you must submit two documents:

• Provide a description of your plan for the PAC Boulder Research/Outreach Grant.

In a maximum of 500 words, describe, in layman’s terms, your proposed research/outreach project. The proposal should be written to be accessible to a general audience and explain the motivation and impact of the project on your scientific field and/or the broader community.

• Provide a description of how the PAC Boulder Research/Outreach Grant will impact the progress of the proposal and/or your career development? 

In a maximum of 200 words, include details about how the $500 will be spent to contribute to the progress of the proposal. Give context for the proposed work. For example, will the funds contribute to part of a larger project, kick-start a new project, allow a new research direction, facilitate new opportunities for community science, etc.
