The North American Chapter of the Geological Remote Sensing Group (GRSG) worked with RASEI to hold a workshop focised on the applications of remote sensing in the oil and gas industry. Held in July of 2018, the program included a mix of keynote talks, technical presentations, and panel discussions centered around the oil and gas project lifecycle.

With over 90 attendees from across the United States, including international participants from Brazil, UK, Norway and Italy, the two-day event was a success. The program covered the breadth of the oil and gas life cycle. There was a great deal of representation from academic, government labs, and industrial organizations.
