RASEI hosted the United States Department of Energy Wind Energy Technologies Office for their FY2023 research, development, and technology review. Including members of the DOE Office and Program managers this conference brought together over 80 participants including members of NREL, Idaho National Laboratory, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Iowa State University, NRECA, and Mana Group LLC.

The conference had multiple goals, including the development of the Distributed Wind Hybrid Toolkit, identification of new applications for this toolkit, the development of cooperatives to invest in wind power systems and strategies to help the federal government identify communities where these hybrid systems could be most impactful.
