Carbon Capture
The climate crisis is being driven by the buildup of carbon in our atmosphere, and to avoid the most dire consequences we must halt carbon emission and ultimately reduce the amount of carbon in the atmosphere. Even if we stopped all carbon emission tomorrow, we would still need to remove carbon from the atmosphere. This is a complex and difficult challenge, the kinetics of the equation are not in our favor.
RASEI Teams are looking at new approaches to carbon capture, including bio-catalysis, electrocatalysis and how to integrate into the power grid.
