°µÍø½ûÇø 30,000 people are expected to attend the 4th of July Fireworks at Folsom Field on the campus of the University of Colorado at Boulder, and officials urge spectators to arrive early if they are parking on campus.

Doors at Folsom Field open at 6 p.m. Parking for the festivities will be in lots off of Regent Drive, accessible via Broadway or Colorado Avenue. Additional parking will be available in the Euclid Avenue Autopark, next to the University Memorial Center, and surrounding lots.

Parking on campus is free during university holidays.

Close-in parking and drop-off for those who have difficulty walking will be along Colorado Avenue south of the stadium.

CU's Parking Services staff is encouraging use of the SKIP bus or other alternative means of transportation. RTD buses will be running on holiday schedules. For more information about RTD routes and schedules call (303) 299-6000.

Live symphony music from the Colorado Music Festival Orchestra will begin at 8:30 p.m., with fireworks to follow after dark. For more information about the festivities, visit .
