The fire at the Gold Run Condominium Complex has displaced an unknown number of University of Colorado at Boulder students and other residents, though early estimates indicated more than 20 CU-Boulder students may be affected.

The number of people affected is not certain as Boulder Fire Department officials investigate the remains of the structure from a blaze that began early today at about 2:45 a.m.

Three people were admitted to Boulder Community Hospital for smoke inhalation and were treated and released. No serious injuries have been reported. It was not yet known if any of the three people admitted to Boulder Community Hospital were CU-Boulder students.
