The University of Colorado at Boulder will continue to accept donations of clothing, sheets, blankets, towels and simple household items at the CU Recreation Center throughout the weekend to aid victims of Friday morning聮s Gold Run Condominium fire.
Donations will be accepted at the front desk of the CU Recreation Center through midnight on Sunday night. The CU Recreation Center is most easily accessible from Folsom Street on the access road that runs behind the Dal Ward Athletic Center at the north end of Folsom Stadium.
On Monday, the donation center will shift to the main floor of Regent Hall where collection areas can be easily accessed and signs will be posted. Among the items that will be accepted are blankets, comforters, clean clothing (including shoes and socks) and household items such as towels, washcloths, sheets, pillows and pillowcases.
Regent Hall is open from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
