The University of Colorado at Boulder is hosting a second round of visits this week with University of Colorado presidential finalist Bruce Benson.
On Tuesday, Feb. 12, Benson will meet with members of the Boulder Faculty Assembly in a faculty forum from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Glenn Miller Ballroom at CU-Boulder's University Memorial Center. All CU-Boulder faculty members are invited to attend.
Following that meeting, Benson will return to the Glenn Miller Ballroom to meet with members of the University of Colorado Student Union and any interested CU students in an open forum from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The student forum is open to the public.
On Wednesday, Feb. 13, Benson will meet with members of the CU-Boulder Staff Council, CU-Boulder's staff governance organization. The staff forum will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Old Main Chapel on the CU-Boulder campus. CU-Boulder staff members also are welcome to attend until the venue is full.
All three meetings are open to the media.
Also on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 6:30 p.m. the CU Board of Regents has announced it will hold a special meeting to consider the appointment of presidential finalist Benson in executive session, which will be closed to the public. No vote will be taken on Benson's candidacy for CU president in the Wednesday meeting.
