University of Colorado at Boulder Chancellor G.P. "Bud" Peterson will give an overview of his goals and priorities for the University of Colorado at Boulder in a speech on Friday, Sept. 12, in Old Main Chapel.
The annual State of the University address, which is open to the campus, the press and the public, begins at 8:15 a.m. following an informal breakfast at 7:30 a.m. on the Norlin Quad outside of Old Main on the CU-Boulder campus.
In his third State of the University address to the faculty, Peterson will review with the faculty CU-Boulder's many accomplishments over the last year, the latest developments in implementing the university's Flagship 2030 Strategic Plan, and outline his vision for taking the plan forward.
"The opportunity to address my colleagues on the CU-Boulder faculty is one of the great honors of my position as chancellor and I look forward to it each year," said Peterson. "The university is entering an exciting period, and I am eager to refine our collective vision of where CU-Boulder can go and what we can achieve in the years to come. This dialogue is vital to that process. "
