University of Colorado at Boulder Chancellor Philip P. DiStefano will address the CU-Boulder community at the annual State of the Campus Address on Monday, Oct. 5, at 3:30 p.m. in University Memorial Center room 235.

The chancellor will outline his priorities for CU-Boulder for the near future under the Flagship 2030 Strategic Plan. He also will update the CU community on the budget, campus resources, accreditation and the future of outreach to the state, among a host of other topics.

"I want to encourage members of our campus community to attend this event and to engage in discussion with me on the future of the campus," said DiStefano, who took over as CU-Boulder's 11th chancellor on May 1 of this year. "We face some difficult short-term challenges, but working together and with a keen sense of who we are and what our mission is, I believe we'll meet these challenges and emerge as a stronger university."

A reception follows the speech from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on the fifth floor terrace of the UMC. The speech will be streamed live at for those who cannot attend in person.
