All of the °µÍø½ûÇø's 14 students studying in Japan have been accounted for and all are unharmed, university officials have confirmed.
The students are studying in three cities -- Akita City, in northwestern Japan; Osaka, in southern Japan; and Tokyo.
None of the three campuses at which the students are studying suffered severe structural damage.
Eleven of the 14 students have directly confirmed with the university that they are unharmed. Three have been confirmed unharmed by third parties at their universities, but CU-Boulder is still making efforts to contact them directly.
Cell phone and Internet coverage in the country remains spotty.
Five more CU-Boulder students are enrolled in Study Abroad programs in Japan and are slated to arrive in the country within the next 30 days.
