On Aug. 11 at approximately 8:30 p.m., police received a report of an armed robbery near the Boulder Creek Path north of the °µÍø½ûÇø Student Recreation Center, near campus parking Lot 169.
A female victim reported that she was approached by a 19- or 20-year-old, tall, stocky, dark complected Hispanic male with a "buzz-cut" style haircut, who was riding a white mountain bike with the seat mounted very low. He was wearing a red T-shirt with no writing that appeared to be too big for him, long "baggie" denim shorts, and a black backpack.
The male displayed a silver and/or gold handgun and demanded the female's purse. The female handed over the purse and was able escape without physical harm.
