"One of the most exciting ways students can become involved with CU GOLD is through the Core Leadership Program," said Stephanie Baldwin, coordinator for Greek life and leadership programs on campus. "This phenomenal program is free and open to all admitted and enrolled CU students."

The Core Leadership Program consists of a leadership retreat, weekly seminars devoted to various leadership topics, and a community service project. Participating students will be asked to develop and present a personal leadership mission statement, building on the concepts and experiences from throughout the semester. Students who complete all aspects of the program will be recognized for their achievements at the end of the semester.

"Graduates of CLP then find themselves in a position to further their leadership experience by applying for the CU GOLD executive board, or enrolling in the Applied Leadership Program," Baldwin said.
