Access to this online training site was brought to the CU-Boulder campus through the efforts of the Boulder Faculty Assembly Leadership Institute.
Associate Professor Susan Nevelow Mart, Director of the Law Library and one of the principal Boulder Faculty Assembly advocates for lynda.com, is optimistic about the enhancements lynda.com can bring to our campus.
“I am so pleased that the University has agreed to bring lynda.com to the CU-Boulder community. For staff, lynda.com will increase access to much needed just-in-time training. For faculty and students, lynda.com can supply one element of that magic combination of domain knowledge, information literacy, technological literacy and presentation skills that is required to succeed in the modern world,” she said.
Taught by accomplished instructors and recognized industry experts, lynda.com is a great resource for those looking to develop new skills. New courses are added weekly and courses are segmented so you can watch as little or as much as you want. You can access lynda.com twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week, even from your smartphone or tablet. You can also on your iOS or Android device. Many courses offer exercise files that help you follow along and bookmarks to keep track of what you’d like to watch.
