It is time for the Boulder Faculty Assembly election. This is an important opportunity for you to participate in the faculty governance process at CU-Boulder. The BFA Nominations and Elections Committee is requesting nominations for the following BFA At-Large and BFA Committee seats. All terms are for three years.

Please nominate yourself and/or your colleagues. Nominees and nominators must be members of the Faculty Senate. The Faculty Senate includes all members of the general faculty with the following titles whose appointments are fifty percent or more:

  • professor
  • associate professor
  • assistant professor
  • senior instructor
  • instructor
  • scholar in residence
  • artist in residence
  • adjoint, attendant, clinical and research faculty

Nomination e-mail packets should include:

  1. the nominee's affiliation (A&S or Non-A&S), home department/unit, and contact details;
  2. the specific committee, or At-Large, seat of interest;
  3. the nominee's confirmation (separate e-mail is fine) that they are willing to serve;
  4. a brief statement (50 or 60 words is fine) from At-Large seat nominees describing why they are interested in running, and/or what issues are of interest to them;
  5. name and department/unit of the faculty member making the nomination (self-nominations are most welcome!);
  6. an e-mail header containing the phrase "BFA Election".

Please e-mail your nomination packet(s) to the BFA Secretary at adam@colorado.edu by 11:59 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015.
