On Aug. 19 and 20, all campus parking lots will be closed to accommodate Move-in traffic. No current parking permits will be honored on main or East Campus, and pay lots, meters and parking garages will also be closed to regular traffic.
No standard permits (including worksite and vendor permits) will be honored at any campus location. Special parking permits - either Housing Move-in or permits distributed through last week鈥檚 special permit application - will need to be displayed to access any campus area.
Work units are encouraged to have discussions about what will work best for their teams during the Move-in days. Some options include:
- Use alternative transportation听to get to work, including walking and biking (for Boulder-based faculty and staff) or taking the bus to campus. Visit the Move-in website for . to stay up-to-date on traffic and construction impacts for your preferred routes.
- Telecommute.听Non-faculty employees whose work is conducive to telecommuting听should speak with their supervisor. CU-Boulder鈥檚 Office of Information Technology has put together a .
- Use accrued leave.听Employees who听want to use leave should speak with their supervisors.
- Carpool with others.听Plan now to ride-share with other employees who live near you.听
