Fall Welcome is almost here, and the university needsenthusiastic volunteers who are committed to welcoming students in an inclusive and positive way.Starting with new student move-in on Aug.20, Fall Welcome continues through Sept.1 with more than 200 events. Here are fivereasons you should consider volunteering for this year's Fall Welcome.

As a Fall Welcome volunteer, you will have the unique opportunity tobe one of the first people to greet our new students and families when they arrive on campus.

Show your CU Boulder pride.

Fall Welcome volunteers share their Buffs pride and love for CU,creatingan exciting and welcoming environment at the start of the academic year.

Help new students move in to their residence halls.

Volunteer for your favorite residence hall and share your experience, tips and tricks as you help new students move in. Volunteer opportunities specific to move-in include check-in, providing information and answering questions, unpacking cars and moving boxes, and providing traffic support.

Be part of fall’s most exciting events.

From CU Kickoff and Convocation to the Black and Gold Bash, you have the opportunity to be a part of signature Fall Welcome events.

Get involved and support the campus community.

Volunteers have the opportunity to meet many new people and engage with various campus departments that put on Fall Welcome programming. Last year, 96 percentof volunteers said they felt more connected to CU as a result of their Fall Welcome volunteer experience.
