This week brings registration for a mindfulness program, Till movie screening, lunch with a veteran activist, organization tips, an artist lecture, a winter pick-me-up, the Basic Needs Center open house and more.

Monday, Jan. 30

  Renée Crown Wellness Institute
Improve your mindfulness with this eight-week program, free for all CU students. Various cohorts are offered for everyone, with most programs starting Jan. 30 or Feb. 1.

Tuesday, Jan. 31

   3:30–4:30 p.m.    Virtual
Your resume can shape an employer’s first impression of you. Learn how to stand out with this .

Enjoy a lecture from Sarah Rara. Their accomplished work has been shown at museums across the country. 


Wednesday, Feb. 1

   9 a.m.–1 p.m.   Fleming, Idea Forge
Do you want to work for Apple one day? Apple engineers are coming to CU to network with students and discuss opportunities. 

   2–4 p.m.   Museum of Natural History
During this time of year, many people experience the winter blues. Health and Wellness services are here to help. Get your spirits up this Wednesday by making friendship bracelets.

The Basic Needs Center provides essential resources to Buffs in need. This open house includes snacks, refreshments and a tour of the Buff Pantry.

Till is a 2022 drama film based on a true story. The film follows events after the murder of Emmett Till and exposes the racism that took place.
