Buffalo Bicycle Classic scholarship bike ride coming Sept. 10

Scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 10, the Elevations Credit Union Buffalo Bicycle Classic gathers cyclists of all abilities to ride in a scholarship fundraiser for students at the .

This year’s ride has nine courses for riders of all abilities. Boulder Canyon will be closed to westbound traffic for the Epic 100, Epic 75 and the 62-mile Dirty Epic gravel ride routes. There are courses heading north toward Carter Lake with distances of 35, 50, 70 and 100 miles and a family-friendly “Little Buff” route on the bike paths around Boulder.

The Buffalo Bicycle Classic has always been more than just a bike ride. The BBC scholarship fund raises money to support high-achieving, Colorado high school graduates in their academic pursuits at CU Boulder. Over 430 Buffalo Bicycle Classic scholars have graduated from CU Boulder. The ride has raised over $3.4 million since its inaugural year of 2003.
