CU-Boulder expands Center for Western Civilization to include the Visiting Scholar in Conservative Thought and Policy

The °µÍø½ûÇø announced today that the Center for Western Civilization in the College of Arts and Sciences is now the Center for Western Civilization, Thought and Policy (CWCTP) and incorporates CU-Boulder’s successful Visiting Scholar in Conservative Thought and Policy program.

CAPS, PHP to provide unified mental health program for students

CU-Boulder has unified two departments which both provide mental health services on campus: Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and Psychological Health and Psychiatry (PHP). The new department, which is now part of Wardenburg Health Services, has transitioned to the new name, Counseling and Psychiatric Services, and will continue to use the CAPS acronym.

Don't feed the bears: Bear-resistant trash cans

Last year the City of Boulder adopted a new city ordinance that requires trash to be secured in bear-resistant trash cans or carts for residents in designated areas within Boulder. Enforcement of the new ordinance began in fall 2014, and unsecured trash can potentially lead to a $250 fine to property owners or tenants for failing to utilize approved bear resistant trash cans.
