The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) today announced that the climbed to No. 54 from No. 63 in its annual rankings list. CU-Boulder is among the more than 25,000 degree-granting institutions of higher education worldwide in this year’s CWUR list, published at www.cwur.org .

During the week of July 20, the City of Boulder and police departments will step up crosswalk safety enforcement and education to increase awareness of Boulder’s crosswalk-related ordinances and promote safer streets for all travel options. This five-day effort will target crosswalks where more collisions between pedestrians, bicyclists and drivers were recorded in the 2012 Safe Streets Boulder report , many of which are located on or near the university campus.

July 16, Richard Wobbekind Colorado’s economy continues to outperform the nation in gross domestic product, or GDP - growing by 4.7 percent in 2014 compared to 2.2 percent growth nationally, according to a report from CU-Boulder’s Leeds School of Business. Leeds economist Richard Wobbekind (Wah-bah-kin) says Colorado is very strong in most sectors.
