CU-Boulder Seeks Input in Preparation for Accreditation Evaluation

The University of Colorado at Boulder will undergo a comprehensive evaluation visit Feb. 22-24 next year by a team representing The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. CU-Boulder has been accredited by the commission since 1913.

Our entire university community is saddened by the death of Alex H. Singer. By all accounts, Alex was a good student and a valued member of our community. Coming on the heels of the passing of Transito "Tito" Torres last week, this is an extra blow to our community and our student body. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Alex's family, friends and classmates. We will make counseling resources available to any who are affected by this terrible loss through our Office of Counseling and Psychological Services.

But until now, scientists have struggled to know where these organic molecules go and what happens to them once they leave their source, leading to models for predicting climate and air quality that are incomplete or less than accurate.
