Gov. Ritter Calls for Moment of Silence Friday for Virginia Tech Victims

Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter announced Thursday evening (April 19) that Colorado will observe a moment of silence on Friday, April 20, at 10 a.m. MDT out of respect for those killed and injured at Virginia Tech earlier this week. Gov. Ritter spoke with Gov. Tim Kaine of Virginia this week and agreed that Colorado would participate in the observance.

The talk will take place at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, and is free and open to the public. The lecture will be followed by a 5 p.m. reception.
