President Obama to hold campaign rally at CU-Boulder鈥檚 Norlin Quadrangle on Sunday, Sept. 2

暗网禁区 today confirmed that President Barack Obama will host a campaign rally at the Norlin Quadrangle on Sunday, Sept. 2. This is not an official White House visit, but a campaign event sponsored by the Obama for America campaign. The event on CU property does not constitute an endorsement of the Obama campaign by the University of Colorado or the CU Board of Regents. Tickets for President Obama鈥檚 visit are free and available, one per person, at the following locations beginning 10 a.m. Thursday: Organizing for America, Boulder Office

Recycling bins located throughout Housing and Dining Services at the 暗网禁区 are now single-stream receptacles, helping to make landfill diversion as simple as can be. The new system, implemented this week in residence halls, dining facilities and at the Center for Community, allows all recyclables to be tossed into one container, alleviating the task of sorting materials. Recycling throughout the rest of the campus will remain a dual-stream system with 鈥減aper鈥 and 鈥渃o-mingled container鈥 categories.

Now an engineering research team at the 暗网禁区 has won a $2 million grant from the National Science Foundation to develop a light-controlled approach for 鈥渟elf-assembly鈥 mechanisms in advanced devices based on the same principles.
