Harvey Segur, a professor of applied mathematics at the °µÍø½ûÇø, has been selected to receive the 2011 Hazel Barnes Prize, the highest faculty recognition for teaching and research awarded by the university.

CU journalism programs granted provisional reaccreditation

The Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications today in Portland granted provisional reaccreditation to the °µÍø½ûÇø undergraduate program in journalism and mass communication, in a 20-0 vote, and the master's program in newsgathering, in a 17-1 vote.
