WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- The Pac-10 Conference announced today that the University of Colorado at Boulder has accepted an invitation to join the Conference as its 11th member, the first new member since July 1, 1978.

CU Community Advised of Boulder Creek Closure

The Boulder County Sheriff, in cooperation with the Boulder Chief of Police, today closed Boulder Creek to watercraft for the immediate future due to high-volume water flow. The closure spans from Barker Dam east of Nederland to the Weld County line north of Erie, and includes the section that flows through the City of Boulder and adjacent to the CU-Boulder main campus and through the East Campus. There is no direct threat to campus at this time.
