Finding Community
- Three current Buffs share their stories—the obstacles they faced, the experiences they had, the lessons they learned and the benefits of getting involved and finding community on campus.Â
- Women and others traditionally underrepresented in hackathons are encouraged to join T9Hacks, March 19–21. This year's student organizers share what they've got planned to promote interest in creative technologies, coding, design and making.
- Six graduate liaisons serve as primary contacts to peers in their representative areas—sharing information about events and initiatives, supporting cross-disciplinary connections, brainstorming program ideas and services, and more.
- The CU Neuroscience Club provides resources for students to connect with peers, professors and professionals who are passionate about brain research.
- Leslie Blood has developed accountability seminars to help graduate students feel more grounded as they transition from structured classroom work and research to writing a dissertation.
- A small team of CU Boulder students designed and built a fully autonomous robotic boat and took it on the road to an autonomous surface vehicle competition held June 17–23 in South Daytona, Florida.
- The Design for America organization brings together CU Boulder students in a variety of disciplines to collaborate with community partners in creating innovative solutions to their challenges.
