- The Colorado Buffaloes were one of four Pac-12 programs honored by the league in the annual challenge. CU won for “best use of innovation” and was judged during the Nov. 6 football game against Oregon State.
- Student-athletes have continued to perform extremely well in the classroom in grade point average statistics compiled by CU’s Herbst Academic Center staff, while dealing with the many challenges all CU students have had to navigate over the past two years.
- The Opening Ceremonies are upon us! Eight University of Colorado Buffaloes, including six current or former members of the CU Buffs Ski Team, are ready for the XXIV Winter Olympic Games to begin.
- Four basketball games this week are slated to be gift card collection sites, organized by CU Athletics. Needed are cards for fire victims to shop at Front Range grocery stores, department stores and local restaurants. Please ensure the value of the card is visible on the card.

- Based on honors thesis research, undergraduate Nicholas Turco created a scholarship for student-athlete proposals that advance LGBTQ+ inclusion and safety.
- CU's new Colorado Athletics Visibility Award is a scholarship designed to create a community of collegiate scholar-athletes who have a desire to use their platform, power and visibility in their roles as athletes to advance LGBTQ+ inclusion in sport.
- Colorado women’s basketball concludes their home stretch with a non-conference matchup. Men’s basketball hosts a top 15 team.
- CU volleyball returns home after the final road weekend of the season. Women’s basketball starts their home season with three non-conference matchups, while CU football closes out their home slate against Washington.
