Scene at CU
- In preparation for in-person classes to begin Feb. 15, students recently returned to on-campus housing. The move back included monitoring testing and the Buff Pass daily health questionnaire, key components of the COVID-19-ready campus.
- See recent photos—campus was the site of election polling stations and drop boxes. Chip was out and about. Also, the Colorado Buffaloes played their season opener, winning against UCLA.
- Recent days on the CU Boulder campus included everything from a sunny backdrop for a nationally televised program to the first snowfall of the academic year. See photos.
- In a unique way, Buffs were back this past week–some returning, some new. They followed safety rules, attended virtual welcome events and settled into important day-to-day routines. The community kicked off the academic year as Buffs together.
- After some extra preparation, both on the part of families and the campus, first-year Buffs began moving into residence halls the week of Aug. 17, and Chip was there to help.
- CU Boulder participated in the state's day of remembrance on Friday, May 15, to honor the Coloradans lost to COVID-19. It was also Peace Officers Memorial Day. A moment of silence was held at 7 p.m.
- In recent days, the campus served some of the community's most pressing needs as the site of a mobile food pantry, as well as drive-thru COVID-19 testing. See the week in photos.
- Yusef Salaam and Raymond Santana, two members of the Central Park Five—now known as the Exonerated Five—spoke Tuesday, March 10, at CU Boulder's Glenn Miller Ballroom.Â
- CU Boulder recently hosted both the Diversity and Inclusion Summit, and the Inclusive Sports Summit. See photos from the events, which addressed how we go from talking to modeling behaviors and practices, as well as identity, privilege, inclusion and diversity in sports.
- This week, the community welcomed Karl Dorrell, CU's new head football coach. Also, the campus honored winners of the Chancellor’s Employee of the Year Award. Check out photos from the two events.
