Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Program

°Õ³ó±ðÌýÌýis a fully-funded overseas language and cultural immersion program for American undergraduate and graduate students. Over 40 students from the °µÍø½ûÇø have been awarded this scholarship.

CU Boulder Scholarship Application

°Õ³ó±ðÌýCU Boulder Scholarship ApplicationÌýis available year-round through the student portal; however,Ìýthe majority of scholarships are available to view October 1 - February 15. Prospective students can complete the scholarship application once they have applied for admission and requested access through their Admissions Application Status Page. The scholarship application is optional and completely separate from the admissions process. Completing the application has no impact on your chances of admission. A scholarship committee evaluates submitted applications and selects recipients. Scholarships are highly competitive and award criteria may include academic merit, financial need, extracurricular activities, leadership, or other requirements.

The CU Boulder Scholarship Application includes both a streamlined application for multiple CU scholarships, but it also helps you find additional scholarships to apply for. Scholarships within the CU Boulder Scholarship Application will specify how to apply (including those offered through the general application). To apply using the tool, students will need to log in toÌý.

Winning one of these awards may have implications for your total financial aid package, including eligibility for—and funding of—student loans and/or other scholarships. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the Office of Financial Aid to discuss your entire aid package.
