Talley Swings Through to Fifth in Big 12
SophomoreÌýEmily TalleyÌýfinished fifth in the Big 12 Women’s Golf Championships, tying for the second-best Big 12 showing ever by a CU female golfer. The only better performance by a Buff was a fourth place byÌýSarah Bellinger WoodsÌý(Acct’01) in 1999.
As a team, the Buffs finished sixth in the conference meet to conclude their season.
CU men wrapped up their year with a ninth-place showing in the Big 12 tournament.
Meanwhile, CU women’s assistant coach Brent Franklin, a standout in Canadian golf during the 1980s, will be inducted into the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame this summer.
