The CU Boulder Esteemed Scholars Program reflects CU Boulder's commitment to recognizing the exceptional academic potential of Colorado students. Named for CU Boulder's first presidents, the scholarships include President Joseph A. Sewall and President Horace M. Hale.

Arts & Humanities Merit Scholarship
The Arts & Humanities Merit Scholarship is offered to first-year students who apply and are admitted with a declared A&H major.

Native and Indigenous Student Scholarship
CU Boulder offers the Native and Indigenous Student Scholarship to students who are members of a federally recognized tribe.

CU Boulder Bridge Scholars Program
The Boulder Bridge, and Bridge Ignite Scholarships are offered to students who participated in the .

Regent Scholarship
The Regent scholarship is available to first-year students who graduate from Colorado high schools. One $1,000 Regent scholarship is offered each year per Colorado high school based on high academic achievement as measured by GPA, rank in class, and level of coursework.

Add-On Scholarship
Colorado residents who receive an automatic consideration scholarship are also considered for add-on scholarships from the College of Media, Communication & Information (CMCI).
