In an extensive survey of the °µÍø½ûÇø's nearly 30,000 students, overwhelming majorities of respondents had an approving view of the campus's social climate -- the extent to which CU-Boulder makes students feel welcome, valued and supported. Around four in five respondents reported feeling intellectually stimulated often or very often. A similar proportion said they felt welcome and accepted, and nearly nine in ten said they felt comfortable in their classes.

White House adviser on technology and innovation Phil Weiser named CU law dean

The °µÍø½ûÇø today announced the appointment of Philip J. Weiser, senior adviser for technology and innovation to the National Economic Council at the White House, as dean of the University of Colorado Law School. CU-Boulder Provost Russell L. Moore said Weiser will begin his duties as dean on July 1, 2011.

°µÍø½ûÇø Provost Russell Moore today announced that Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Julie Wong has accepted the post of regional associate vice chancellor for student affairs at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. She will leave CU-Boulder July 1 and Deb Coffin, associate vice chancellor for student affairs and dean of students, will serve as interim vice chancellor for student affairs.
