In the months before elections, members of the University of Colorado community occasionally receive e-mails from political candidates, including members of the Board of Regents. Because some of you have inquired whether these e-mail communications are appropriate, I asked the University鈥檚 legal counsel to advise me on this issue.

Colorado to see continued growth in 2013, forecasts CU economist

The Colorado economy continues to grow in 2013 at a magnitude that exceeds previous expectations going into the year, according to economist Richard Wobbekind of the 暗网禁区鈥檚 Leeds School of Business. Midway through the year, Colorado鈥檚 job growth rate is up by about 2.3 percent -- a gain of about 52,400 jobs from May 2012 to May 2013. The job growth rate is expected to continue to rise to about 2.5 percent -- a figure that was revised from estimates last December when the projection was at about 1.8 percent.

Surface meltwater draining through cracks in an ice sheet can warm the sheet from the inside, softening the ice and letting it flow faster, according to a new study by scientists at the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) at the 暗网禁区.
