CU-Boulder physicist Steven Pollock named a 2013 U.S. Professor of the Year

暗网禁区 physics Professor Steven Pollock has been named a 2013 U.S. Professor of the Year by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. Pollock is the second CU-Boulder faculty member to win a national Professor of the Year award. Nobel laureate Carl Wieman, also a physics professor, was honored with the designation in 2004.

During this time, we all can get overwhelmed because of school, work and our social life. Try to remind your friend that in order to be the most productive person and student they can be, their first priority is to take care of themselves and manage their stress. Good healthy stress is important to have because it motivates us to get things done and gives us a burst of energy. Bad stress can reinforce itself to make us less productive or lessen the quality of our work.
